Overview
James Latham, a leading timber and panel product importer, are looking for an Apprentice Warehouse Operative to join our Motherwell team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a career in warehousing and distribution, learn new skills including forklift driving and also gain a qualification. The role will involve all processes from receiving deliveries from suppliers and general stock management to picking customers orders for dispatch Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old for insurance reasons. We are an equal opportunity employer What will I learn? On completion you will be awarded with your SCQF Level 5 in Freight Logistics Warehousing Along with this you will also gain more experience in the warehouse department and expand on your knowledge of what is included in a day to day warehouse environment. What qualification or qualities are required? The ideal candidate must have a positive can-do attitude, be able to work as part of a team and have a minimum of National 4/5 or equivalent in Maths, English and one other subject.
