Lead Insight Analyst North Tyneside (good transport links) £45,000 - £58,000 per annum A leading employer who have catapulted to the top of their market in recent years, are looking to take steps to understand their business through the eyes of data and insight; this is where you come in The successful candidate will take the business on a journey of discovery and identification, from current data trends and status, to the implementation of tweaks to help optimise daily performance and more importantly; understand what drives good performance. You will be analysing everything from spend patterns to market conditions, to help identify what creates genuine business opportunity and what creates risk. The business would love to know what makes a good day and what makes a bad day, and how to tweak the business to ensure optimal performance. Their current analytics is limited to year on year reporting (and other basic financial reports), which helps them understand when a quiet and busy patch is approaching. Business decisions from here are done on a whim; which is less than ideal. This role will own the data analysis for the entire company. You’ll very quickly become data fluent and advise decision makers and stakeholders within the business of what exactly the data is saying. You’ll also help predict what change that an adjustment may make throughout the business. This role has been highlighted as a key hire for the business and carries optimal influence throughout the group. To be considered, we’re looking for: A proven and natural analyst – this will be evidenced through your current and previous roles. What you’ve actually done here will be heavily questioned at interview. Technical understand and experience of analytics and reporting tools – this could be developing advanced visualisations to demonstrate trends and predict the future. Experience of transitioning raw data from multiple sources, to demonstrate actual trends and insight.
