Overview
Immediate start available for this temporary to permanent position. Quality Inspector Responsibilities: Approve production-process by confirming specifications; by way of measurement tests and communicating required adjustments to production supervisors Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting measurement tests; returning products for re-work and confirming re-work. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarising re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database Update Quality knowledge by participating in continuous development opportunities Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials Hours: 2pm - 10pm in the main, but with some 10pm - 6am shifts. Days: Monday to Friday Pay rate: £10.00 with a 23% shift allowance Location: Beaumont Leys Skills & Requirements: CMM knowledge is essential, including programming (preferably Cosmos) Calibration Able to read customer drawings and understands the importance of accurate measurements Inspection experience gained in a fast moving high precision environment: aerospace, precision engineering or automotive using Micrometers, Veniers and Height Gauges If you are interested and have the skills required, please apply online.
