Overview
The Company: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Garment Technologist/ Quality Assurance Technician to join an established supplier to the high street retailers. The ideal candidate would have a strong apparel background and advantageous if worked within a supplier and or with licensed products. The Role: Working to critical paths. Fitting samples and comparing to previous comments. Liaising with the merchandisers to ensure critical path dates are met. Managing individual customers block size specs. Quality control and checking for measurement discrepancies etc. Attending regular fit sessions and ensuring paperwork and documents are updated and correct. Updating size specs and workbooks with customer comments. Sending all comments and updated workbooks / size specs to the factory and ensuring they understand all requirements. Amending size specs. Garment risk assessments. Communicate with the customer and factory on a daily basis. Liaising with factories for required fit / sealing / production samples and all relevant paperwork. Skills Required: A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar position. Must have worked to and followed critical path. Have a thorough understanding of 1 st fit through to production. Working within ladies, mens and childrenswear is essential. Ability to advise on construction at initial stage.
