Overview

VPS Integrator (Rolls-Royce Motor Cars) Our prestigious client Rolls-Royce Motor Cars are currently seeking a VPS Integrator Associate who will be responsible for the following: Steers, traces and documents the activities with the aim to conserve `know how` and create transparency. Date planning, co-ordination, moderation and documentation of VPS - events and workshops with involvement of the relevant people. Creation and adjustment of programme reports and drafts. Support of standard development for the VPS programme. Participation in method circles, ensures standard within plant/technology. Consults Managers, by using change competency, within the technology how to lead a transformation process. Moderates self responsible improvement workshops within production areas and in indirect areas with support of advanced VPS-Methods. Designs and creates communication documents and activities as presentations, intranet, fairs, exhibitions. Ensures the transfer and conservation of know how by e.g. targeted training, documentation within the intranet, workshops within technology/the plant. Analyses training requirements and steers implementation. Trains associates from all areas of the business in the tools, and provided evaluation of methods and progress. Regular learning, reflection and development of processes in-line with the R-RMC strategy. Qualifications and Experience Experience of lean manufacturing methods required Understanding of Lean manufacturing methodology and principles Excellent communication skills and ability to moderate Lean improvement workshops Analytical, problem solving skills. Fluent English is essential. Working knowledge of German would be beneficial but not essential. Extensive PC skills required The role will be based at their manufacturing plant and head office based in Westhampnett, West Sussex. Please note that although this role is based at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd you will be employed by Gi Group, the on-site agency.
