Overview

Finance Director-FMCG Food Supply Chain Midlands £110,000-£115,000 Bonus & Package I am looking for an experienced finance expert to provide strategic leadership and direction in all aspects of finance including budgeting, forecasting and financial regulations for a fast expanding food operator. You will need to be an exceptional accountant and hands-on with company finances but will also be commercially aware, advising on the best path of growth for the business, working with all departments of the business to help them plan and manage their budgets. It's essential that you are fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent) and have managed a team in a similar role & business. Responsibilities: You will partner with the CEO and Business team to maximise performance through the provision of a commercially focussed financial, property and procurement function. Lead key external stakeholder relationship (e.g. auditors, government departments, local authorities and other public bodies etc.) Oversee and ensure compliance with all aspects of financial processes, financial control and tax Build, lead, motivate and develop effective operational finance, enabling confidence and measured risk taking where appropriate Play a key role in significant business decisions including strategic planning, M&A, investment decisions (people, transformation, technology etc.), complex contract negotiation, integration and other partnering proposals Challenge and support significant commercial decisions including tenders, pricing and new business opportunities Drive improvements in management information, KPI reporting and analysis in order to provide greater insight into business performance and improve the level of understanding of key performance drivers and service line profitability Improve the overall control environment, including financial and operational controls and processes in the business Ensure there is an appropriate risk monitoring framework, directing corrective action where necessary Be a cost advocate for the business and to drive efficiencies and synergies between the various functions and services In addition, my client is offering great career progression for the right candidate Interested in this challenge?
