Overview
Highways Contracts Supervisor Your new company A main contractor based in Bradford who specialise in civil engineering with a focus on road surfacing contracts. With contracts covering the whole of the U.K. they are looking for a contracts supervisor to assist with an increased workload in 2020. Your new role Reporting directly in to the contracts director you will hold responsibility for multiple projects at any one time. This will involve everything from pre-start planning, measuring & placing material orders, site set-up & team briefings through to client handover. As a multi-site role your ability to manage the on-site teams and ensure they are working effectively in your absence will be essential. With contracts on a national basis there will be travel required with the possibility of overnight stays and weekend work as well. What you'll need to succeed You must have extensive experience working on road surfacing contracts to ensure suitability for this role. A minimum of CSCS card and SSSTS are required. You will be commercially aware and have the ability to accurately estimate material requirements and effectively negotiate with suppliers.
