Contracts Manager - Defects
Overview
Your new company An established building maintenance company focused on the new build defects market. Working on behalf of some of the leading house-builders across Kent and greater London they carry out a range of defects works from small day jobs on 1 unit through to major defects across a whole site - All occupied properties. Works vary to include Paining, Tiling, decorating, dry lining, Carpentry plus window/door replacement. Currently operating with 1 Contracts manager the new role has arisen due to a consistent increase in workload leading to a company expansion. Your new role As contracts manager your time will be split between the office and visiting sites. You will be the link between the field staff, office, customers/Residents and end clients overseeing Quality control, Sourcing and scheduling contractors, writing/issuing RAMS, dealing with Client enquiries, Overseeing all works from start to finishing ready for sign-off, ensuring sites are resourced correctly and ensuring the Customers are getting the best experience possible What you'll need to succeed A background in Defects management, Maintenance or Decent homes would be preferred, an understanding of the house-building industry would be advantageous, A key element of the role will be the day to day interaction with Customers and clients alike therefore Customer facing skills are paramount., Candidates are expected to come from a trades background, alternative backgrounds will be considered.
