£35000 - £45000 | Civil Design Engineer | Glasgow City Centre Your new company A multi-national and multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that continue to innovate within the industry making their award winning services widely recognised world-wide. They take on a varied and interesting workload predominantly within the residential, commercial, industrial and rail sectors that has been consistently growing. With this growth in workload, they are now looking to add a Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Technician to their busy and vibrant Glasgow office. Your new role In your new role, you will be responsible for the road and drainage design for a variety of projects within the residential, commercial industrial and rail sectors. You will liaise with architects, clients and other professionals whilst carrying out duties and participate in both internal and external design review meetings. You will also be involved in the development and mentoring of more junior members of staff. What you'll need to succeed You will have a HNC/HND or other relevant qualification in Civil Engineering and significant experience in the Civils sector. You will have experience in the use of Civil Engineering design packages such as PDS, Civils 3D and Microdainage. Due to the nature of the role, it is important you have good communication and interpersonal skills to allow you to work effectively within your team and liaise with clients. What you'll get in return You will receive a very competitive salary between £35000 - £45000 depending on experience.
