Overview

My client can now offer the opportunity for a Civil Technician to join a them in Glasgow, where you will work within a dedicated Infrastructure team working on a variety of projects from commercial developments to renewable energy, producing drawings and designs; not only ancillary civils for building developments but larger infrastructure projects too. This role is best suited to a Civil Technician with some exposure to using PDS or Civil 3D. If you have also had the opportunity to use WinDes, this would be favourable. THE COMPANY You will be joining a privately-owned consulting engineer with over 100 employees in Scotland. They have a long history and have become a household name in the Civil and Structural Engineering market throughout the UK. They occupy a stunning office space in the centre of Glasgow, have a relaxed working environment and a strong social scene. THE ROLE You will work within the Infrastructure Development team in Glasgow, who are responsible for the design and production of drawings for the associated Civils works on building developments as well as stand-alone Infrastructure jobs. THE PROJECTS You will work on a variety of developments including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial/manufacturing and more. PROSPECTS Along with industry leading training, you will work closely with a Senior Civil Technician and a Chartered Engineer who will assist with your professional development, ensuring you progress towards EngTech in a timely fashion. Internal promotion is actively encouraged and will allow you to pick a career path and work towards clear goals with your mentor's assistance.
