Senior/Principal Civil Design Engineer | £40000 - £55000 | Glasgow City Centre Your new company A global, multidisciplinary design and engineering company that pride itself in providing exceptional services throughout the full cycle of projects within infrastructure and the built environment. They use the very latest technology in Building Information Modelling to ensure the most efficient designs for their impressive clients. This Consultancy take on, arguably, the most varied and interesting Building projects across several sectors which sees them consistently nominated for, and winning, prestigious awards. Your new role Your new role as a Senior/Principal Civil Design Engineer will be tailored to your experience. Ideally you will be a technically driven engineer looking to join the business to design new Infrastructure Roads and Drainage systems using the usual civil design softwares such as Civil 3D, Microdrainage, PDS and AutoCAD on a variety of interesting projects. In this new role, you will be meeting clients, doing detailed designs, tender reviews and supervising/mentoring junior members of the team. You will be part of a successful, relaxed work environment where in time you can lead your own team. What you'll need to succeed You will have a qualification in Civil Engineering or similar. It is essential that you have experience in the use of MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, PDS or AutoCAD for the design of roads & drainage within various infrastructure developments. Ideally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work well within a team of professionals.
