Join a thriving Property Design and Building Services team as a lead Building Surveyor in Cambridge Your new company This organisation are a major UK construction and property firm who provide construction services, building services, civil engineering, support services, public and private house building and land development. With a national network and a diverse range of clientele across the UK this organisation have a pipeline of work within their property design and building services team and are therefore looking to expand the team with a Building Surveyor Your new role As the building surveyor, you will shape innovative, inspired solutions for public and private sector clients right across their Southern Region. Working collaboratively and engagingly with colleagues in many disciplines, you'll do more than 'just' deliver on the technical and financial dimensions of the project - you'll be at the heart of realising the full value to clients, through effective contract administration and efficient programme management. Continually improving what we do and how we do it through expert advice and guidance, as well as helping prepare bid submissions and presentation materials to maximise business development opportunities, you'll already have similar experience working with customers in different sectors, producing building specifications and 2D CAD drawings, delivering exceptional results and nurturing strong relationships through your blend of technical expertise and influencing skills. What you'll need to succeed As the Building surveyor you will ideally be MRICS although if you are an APC candidate given you have relevant experience then you may be considered for the role. You will ideally have good experience with AutoCad. An understanding of BIM and operational knowledge of REVIT would be ideal however not essential. You will be required to work on various commercial projects with various types of instructions predominantly centred around design aspects, so it is essential for you to have a good understanding of design elements.
