Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer - SQA Engineer Title: Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer / SQA Engineer / Quality Engineer Location: Flexible - Basingstoke area preferred although potential to be home based. Travel: Asia & North America - 30% Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Circa DOE) Benefits: 12% bonus As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer you will managing a number of external suppliers and manufacturers based in Asia for a well-known global manufacturing business who sell products globally. This opportunity will be to work alongside quality, sourcing, R&D and a portfolio of external suppliers to support the launch of a new product to actively support the launch of modules from mass production to fist line support. You will be expected to visit both North America and parts of Asia to continue to develop and ensure the completion of the launch. Responsibilities: Complete supplier site audits ensuring completion of identified corrective actions in a timely manner. Ensure FMEA assessments for equipment production Utilise PPAP methodology for qualifying components and mentor suppliers in PPAP Develop and improve supplier related non-conformance management processes with a focus on 8D methodologies. Evaluate effectiveness of supplier's quality control plans for production. Actively feeding into the sourcing function's continuous supplier performance program via participation in Quality Business Reviews Requirements: Lead Auditor certified to ISO9001 Proven experience of working within Supplier Quality Assurance Skilled in a technical field such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Manufacturing or Similar Proven record of APQP and PPAP application and 8D methodologies HACCP qualification (desirable) Knowledge of GMP principles (desirable) SRG is the UK's number one recruitment company specialising in the scientific, engineering, clinical, pharmaceutical, food/FMCG, energy & renewables, biotech, chemical and medical device sectors.
