Overview

Excellent opportunity for an ambitious Evening Work Flow Team Lead to join a future facing, international law firm and take their career to the next level. About the role Working evenings within the Document Services Centre you will be managing the department's workflow as part of the workflow team, maintaining a high level of service which matches customer's expectations. Key Duties include: - To serve as a key client interface for Document Centre services. - Management of approx. 10 out of hours staff based in London. - Responsible for team management, escalations, client interaction and service, process enhancement and continued delivery improvements. - To perform all aspects of managing workflow for the Document Centre. - Utilising client tools and templates in document preparation as required. - Technical document trouble-shooting support as required within the centre or directly with centre users. - Adherence to brand guidelines and best practices when preparing documents. - Producing work product which is of a highly professional standard, consistent in formatting and style. - Performing quality control measures on work produced, including by colleagues. - Managing and prioritising assigned projects to ensure deadlines and expectations are met. - Acquire and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the client's working environment and business needs. - Effective project communication and handover between shifts. - Identifies concerns, risks and conflicts and asks for assistance when required in a timely and constructive manner. - Responsible for continuing to upgrade work skills by participating in company-offered training and development programs and staying abreast of technology changes relevant to this role. - To develop an overview of team skills in producing complex documents. - Flexible and responsive to business needs. - To assist in the collation and preparation of data for monthly reporting. - Responsible for providing leadership and direction to evening team as well as all administrative team matters. - Monitoring productivity of the team ensuring that any issues are identified and to progress any action plans. Working Hours: Mon-Fri 15:30-23:00 (30m break); or hours can be adjusted for a 1 hr break This role can be based in London or Sheffield. About you - Excellent workflow experience in a legal or other professional services environment. - Previous document production experience in a professional service environment. - Experience of working in, or with an outsourcing/offshoring environment helpful. - Supervisory experience helpful. - Excellent working knowledge of document production practices and technologies. - Advanced technical knowledge. - Professional qualification such as MOS desirable or qualified by experience. - Assertive and robust individual. - Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple projects at any given time, as well as perform accurately under time pressures and constraints. - Show initiative and good judgment and be able to work independently. - Ability to concentrate in an environment of multiple demands and distractions. - Able to maintain confidential information and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Able to work effectively with colleagues of all levels in an organisation. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Strongly self-motivated; adopts a 'can do' approach; takes pride in work and the larger organisation.
