Overview

Horse Health, owners of LeMieux, are one of the fastest growing equestrian brands suppling high quality products to the equestrian market all over the world. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Finance Manager to join our team at our offices in East Wellow near Romsey, Hampshire to manage and process all aspects of the Company’s financial activities from payroll, sales and purchase ledger to preparation of management accounts. Reporting directly to the Directors, the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-driven, discreet and exceptionally organised. You will be unflappable with a proven ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is an extremely diverse role and you will be responsible for all areas of the following: Purchase Ledger - Processing supplier invoices and payments Sales Ledger Cash book Credit control Bank reconciliations in multiple currencies Post and allocate bank payments and receipts Processing bank transactions Process expenses Payroll (using Sage) Monthly reconciliation Preparing and posting journals VAT returns - EEC Sales listings - Instrastat return Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts Preparation of Sales Agent commission reports and payments Liaising with external support Company for assistance with accounts software system where needed (OGL / Profit Plus) Supporting and liaising with external auditors Dealing with customer account enquiries Dealing with enquiries from administration team regarding sales account or processing queries To be considered for this role you will have: Previous experience within a similar role ACCA / ACA or CIMA qualified or part qualified and studying Experience of Sage 50 payroll Must be computer literate and experienced using Excel, Word and Outlook Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal Proven ability to work to deadlines Salary commensurate with experience but IRO £35,000 - £40,000 PA To apply, please forward your CV and covering letter to: The Office Manager Horse Health Wessex Ltd Woodington Road East Wellow Romsey Hampshire SO51 6DQ
