Our busy Accountancy Practice is looking for an experienced Practice Manager to oversee a team of accountants based in East London. Role Info: Practice Manager - Qualified Accountant - AAT, CIMA, ACCA or IFA Walthamstow, East London | Negotiable Salary Access to exceptional bonus scheme Wide range of training opportunities and development within the company The role involves: Taking on the management and hands on delivery of accounts, tax and wider financial services for clients across varied industries. Developing client relationships, taking on a client portfolio, and work on wider advisory/business services. Ensuring the smooth running of the office. Managing a small team, helping, and supporting them in their development, and progression within the firm. The key duties of the post are as follows: Manage a portfolio of clients and ensuring that required service levels for all clients are met. Maintaining a productive relationship with clients in the portfolio, making regular contact with them, dealing with any specific queries or problems and assisting with/undertaking work as required to meet agreed deadlines. Preparation and/or review of personal and corporate tax returns. Supervising and reviewing the work of more junior members of the team. Completing more complex accounts work for clients. Acting as the main point of contact for Principle and General Manager, ensuring that matters are dealt with in a timely manner and that the Management Team is aware of any important matters. Undertaking ad-hoc project work as required by the Management Team, assisting clients on their behalf as and when needed Identifying opportunities for obtaining new work with clients Attending potential client meetings Actively supporting all sales, promotional, marketing and networking activities of the organisation either to current clients or targets. Dealing with work of highly confidential nature Qualifications and Skills Required You will be a qualified accountant - AAT, CIMA, ACCA, IFA with 1 year experience as a manager within an accountancy practice Strong knowledge of accounts and tax Extensive knowledge and experience of accountancy practice service delivery developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. Exceptional leadership and communications skills Project Manager experience Remuneration Salary negotiable, based on experience Access to exceptional bonus scheme Wide range of training opportunities and development within the company 40 hours per week 9am – 6pm Interested?
