Overview
A position that would suit candidates from either a scientific or manufacturing background. You will be the lead on all things Quality across the facility and therefore it is essential that you have both good people management skills but also the ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve end results. You will have demonstratable experience within managing QMS systems and working with suppliers and supplier audits. Overseeing 3 sites you will have limited travel to Neston and Banbury once or twice annually but the ability to lead virtually throughout the year. You will lead a small team consisting 1 apprentice, an administrator and a Quality Technician. Main Responsibilities: Leading, managing and developing on-site Team Maintaining QMS (Quality Management System) to ISO9001: 2015 standard Managing and implementing short and long-term strategic Quality objectives Developing a ‘Zero Defect’ approach to Quality Implementing Production System standards & guidelines Monitoring performance of existing supplier base and developing new suppliers Ensuring our production processes meet the highest expectations and needs of our customers Managing customer complaints using CRM system and 8D methodology Responsible for EHS policies and ensuring that all processes and procedures are adhered to Management of statutory EHS regulations ensuring safe and effective methods of working Active partner in NPI (New Product Introduction) process Skills and Experience Required: Demonstrable Quality Management experience Degree OR relevant experience, in a Manufacturing or Engineering discipline Significant hands on experience of supplier and process auditing (qualification would be desirable) Experience and understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles Trained to Six Sigma Green Belt level or higher (desirable) Competent and effective leader and manager of people and teams Proven project management experience and capability Working experience of Health and Safety systems If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
