Overview
Our exclusive client, a large group with revenues within the UK of circa £400m is expanding their current team with a Commercial Finance Business Partner. The business has experienced phenomenal growth over recent years, through continuously maximizing current contracts and strategic wins of profitable new contracts. They are now seeking to expand their executive team with a change orientated and Proactive Commercial Finance Business Partner. The business is run divisionally, and each division is headed up by an experienced, high calibre Senior Leadership Team. The coming year will see the business embark on a period of significant change, that will see a project focused on a new ERP system implementation. Your role as a Commercial Accountant will see you Business Partner with both directors and commercial managers of the division using your extensive commercial experience. Your role will include; · Challenge current process and strategy · Gain extensive knowledge of contracts and controls · WIP management and analysis · Monthly Management Accounts and Reporting · Finance Business Partnering to senior stakeholders · Ensure best practice is implemented across all contracts · Support the business in implementation of strategy and implementation of improvements · Group reporting · Monthly Management Accounts and Reporting The right candidate will be ambitious with extensive commercial exposure within a larger group or divisional business. You will have a proactive approach and be able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders of the business. You will work within a strong senior leadership team and have the opportunity to develop divisionally. You are able to impact and add value immediately and take full ownership and work autonomously.
