Overview

Your new employer RK Finance are excited to be working with an award winning Lancashire business currently seeking to appoint a Director of Finance. The successful applicant will oversee the companies finance function and will be instrumental in shaping the business through a period of change. Your role in your new job As Director of Finance you will play an integral part in leading the finance team, and will be responsible for building and maintaining key business relationships. You will co-ordinate all work relating to monitoring revenue and capital budget, producing regular reports in support of the key business plan and objectives to ensure long term financial health and sustainability is maintained. As the Director of Finance you will develop frameworks to ensure cohesion between finances, accounting systems and their reviews. As a strong leader of people, you will build core internal relationships with colleagues and with your expert teams whilst also influencing externally with other key stakeholders and suppliers. You will have ultimate responsibility with the production of management accounts - ensuring they are provided in a timely and accurate manner. Including operational finance cost analysis, budgets and forecasts, pricing, profit margins and reporting - highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains. Influence strategy and planning of process improvement projects to meet the operational and financial strategic goals. Deliver finance reporting including the preparation and presentation of key performance statistics to the COO. Your experience and our requirements We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Director of Finance to lead and manage the business finance function ensuring effective use of financial resources in the delivery of the strategic plan and objectives by ensuring continued financial sustainability, developing opportunities for new income streams. You will hold a professional accountancy qualification and have extensive knowledge of UK GAAP and possess significant experience at senior financial management level within a complex organisation. You will have significant experience of leading a team of finance professionals of all experience and qualifications, with a track record of delivering and managing through periods of change.
