Finance Manager Based: Bamber Bridge area Salary: up to £42k dependent on experience. Excellent opportunity to progress and sit within Senior Management team, working closely with the MD on business growth Our client is a leading service provider based in Bamber Bridge. They are well-known throughout the UK for their unrivalled services and products, working on and securing major contracts with large businesses. With a 5 year plan to triple business turnover/size, this is an excellent opportunity to come in as the number 1 in finance (taking over from a retiring Finance Director), with possible opportunities to progress to that level as the business grows. We are looking for a forward-thinking Finance Manager, with experience within a growing SME, who is keen to work within a Senior Management team, bringing ideas to the table for business growth/change. Role: Supervising a team of 3 staff - recruiting, training and developing the team Preparing monthly management accounts - full commentary and analysis to present to board Preparing annual reports and assisting with yearend processes including annual audit Preparing budgets and forecasts alongside Finance Director VAT returns, EC sales list, Intrastat reporting Managing balance sheet, P&L and Trial Balance reports Posting journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciations Bank reconciliations, managing foreign currencies and exchange rates Monitoring cash flow, weekly cash flow reports liaising with Finance Director on output Reviewing and devising new costing processes to analyse margin, profitability, trends etc. Leading on finance automation process, ensuring data migration to new system and streamlining processes and procedures Working closely with the Managing Director, pro-actively suggesting ideas for the business Experience: ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified Experience managing staff previously Commercial acumen and ability to use own initiative Ability to automate/streamline processes and procedures Please send your CV for immediate consideration
