The Opportunity: As part of their growth strategy, this business now seek a talented Finance Analyst to join their Financial Accounts department. The successful candidate will undertake a role that is both challenging and rewarding and will be tasked with the ongoing improvement and streamlining of existing reconciliation and reporting processes. The Duties: As Finance Analyst you will liaise with various areas of the business to ensure query resolution within expected timescales and will complete reconciliations with the support of the Finance Assistant while looking to implement improvements for all reconciliations, introducing new procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Working with different business areas the Finance Analyst will produce figures for year-end statutory accounts and regulatory returns, assist in the maintenance of the Group subsidiary accounts on the ledger and creating Balance Sheet analysis schedules and reports. The Requirements: As Finance Analyst you will be expected to be able to use your keen eye for detail to spot anomalies within high volumes of data and complex reconciliations. You will be able to work off your own initiative and will be naturally inquisitive in order to investigate areas in which processes are taking considerable time and resources. You will be passionate about suggesting different ways in which the reconciliation processes can be improved and to be able to do this will possess strong IT and MS Excel skills with a proven track record of manipulating large data sets.
