Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Reporting Services Manager with a background in Geophysics or Earth Sciences to join an innovative, market leading risk management and geophysical UXO survey solutions based in Woolpit. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Reporting Services Manager (RSM) will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of all products (reports and technical documents) issued by the company. The prime RSM responsibility is to ensure the all products issued by the company are of consistent quality, uniform branding and met the technical and contractual requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for managing all reporting teams and co-ordinating with the geophysics and operational departments to ensure the product deliverables are issued in a timely manner. Responsibilities of Reporting Services Manager To plan, organise, control, co-ordinate, lead, motivate, delegate and communicate in order to achieve optimal balance between cost, time, quality, benefit and risk of technical reports issued by the company; To Project Manage all projects that only comprise reporting product deliverables; To act as internal service partner to all other projects which involve both field work and reporting and are managed by dedicated project managers; To support project documentation including project execution plans; To monitor product delivery schedules and performance against KPI’s; To supervise all reporting and GIS teams; To communicate and to coordinate product delivery with and between clients, internal partners, and sub-contractors; To support the tendering process; We are looking for candidates who are excellent, reliable, efficient and have an eagle eye for detail. We require first class communicators that adopt a proactive and systematic approach with a competitive attitude. M.Sc. or B.Sc. level in an industry associated discipline - Earth Sciences, Geophysics, Hydrography or similar; Significant demonstrable experience in Report management Experience with ArcGIS, MS office and Mac software; Marine and or land geophysics experience is highly preferable; Excellent knowledge of the English language (verbal and written); The work may involve business travel for short periods.
