Overview
Applications Manager - Law firm, Legal Applications, Innovation I’m currently working on behalf of a global and highly reputable law firm in London who are currently looking for a new Applications Manager. Technology is one of the 4 core pillars in the firm, not an after thought so tech, innovation and strategic direction of their applications and software are extremely high profile and this role will be front and centre. The Applications Manager (Law firm, Legal Applications, Innovation) is one of their key positions, it owns all applications, management of vendors and how they look at new tech (innovation) moving forwards. This role has a hand in everything the firm will be doing moving forwards, selection of new technologies, managing key vendors such as iManage There are tons of upcoming projects, but this role also creates projects as the person identifies new trends and areas the client should be getting involved with along with business change. The client offer Agile working, 1-2 days per week from home are fine. Five to seven years (or more) of relevant experience in application management, Ideally within a law firm Three or more years in diverse roles and increasing responsibilities across business and IT, with focus on business understanding and technology enablement Demonstrable experience of engaging executives and other stakeholders to support important business decisions and product direction. Demonstrable experience of people Management. Demonstrable knowledge of the product management discipline. More than three years working in or with lean and agile software delivery teams More than three years working with design professionals, within a design thinking process, including as an assistant in the user experience design process (preferred).
