Our Client are a specialist supplier and fabricator of solid surfaces. Renown for our high standards, they have won international awards for customer service and fabrication expertise. Due to continued sustained expansion they are now seeking to employ a Customer Service Coordinator to: Assist in product purchasing and order fulfilment activities such as taking orders, giving pricing information, determining appropriate shipping methods, routes and rates, etc. Interface with customers and sales representatives to handle both pre-sales and post-sales service functions. Provide outstanding customer service to improve customer satisfaction and relationship. Handle and resolve customer complaints/inquiries via mail or phone in a timely and accurate manner. Handle incoming phone calls related to; return material requests, product samples, order referrals, sales promotions, etc. Monitor product order shipment to ensure on-time delivery to customers. Alert customers on shipping and flow issues in advance. Provide price and cost proposals in response to customer’s requests. Contact customers regarding contract cancellations to determine cause and possible corrective measures. Develop knowledge about each customer’s business model and requirements. Maintain competent understanding of company’s products, their functions and alternatives. Coordinate, analyse and improve customer service functions to meet company goals. Maintain database of customer sales order and invoicing records. Assist in marketing activities and inventory control maintenance We anticipate that you will have: Excellent telephone and email customer service support Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English ERP system experience desirable Knowledge of invoicing procedures Word Office Excel Sage Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, computer literacy and a team ethic are essential pre-requisites. The successful candidate will enjoy a good basic salary of between £20,000 to £25,000 (dependent upon experience/qualifications) plus excellent prospects and an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
