Overview
Insights & Reporting Analyst GLOBAL TRAVEL PROVIDER LOCATION - London SALARY - £35k - £45k This role sits within a global reporting and insights team, delivering regular reporting and visualisation of data through dashboards, as well as being proactive in using this information to develop actionable insights; identifying opportunity for further analysis and investigation in order to answer business questions, solve business problems or improve targeted marketing. Beyond the regular reporting piece, you will also have a chance to diversify and develop skills in working in a business facing capacity with key stakeholders, delivering actionable insights to help answer business questions, solve business problems and improver customer relationships and understanding. You will need an eye for detail, spotting tends in the data, investigating further to unearth further opportunity for deep dive statistical analysis and modelling of customer profiles and behaviour. You will also work as part of a wider Data Function, which houses Data Science and Data Engineering teams, meaning you can gain exposure to other techniques, learning opportunities and training in these areas (if you wish). The culture is training and development heavy, with personal development on offer at every level. They have a specific Tech Academy where you can learn new tools and techniques, either at desk, in a classroom environment or externally through paid for courses. Technically they use Spotfire inhouse for all their reporting and dashboarding, but will consider uses of other tools such as Tableau, PowerBI etc. and training will be provided. Additionally, they use SQL and are open to SAS, R or Python users for the exploratory analysis and modelling work. Most importantly we are looking for candidates with the intellectual curiosity and proactive nature to unearth useful information and insights for end users across the company, globally, to help improve customer experience and build stronger relationships with the customer.
