Overview
Are you a small firm ACCA / ACA qualified Accounts & Audit Senior (or an Accounts Senior looking for audit training) looking to continue your career in a good quality and friendly independent accountancy firm (with around 12 staff) based in a prime location in the West End of London? Are you looking to continue to carry out a mixed general practice role that is mainly accounts and tax based (80%) but will include a small amount of audit work (20%)? Based in a growing team, your role will be mixed between statutory accounts preparations, corporation tax returns and leading audit assignments from planning to completion for SME clients. You will also help with personal tax returns in January. This unique firm has a very laid back and easy going culture and would suit someone looking for a good work life balance. You will also carry out a number of interesting ad hoc advisory based projects. Your clients will be varied and include industries such as hotels, media, property, entertainment, creative, technology and overseas companies that have a UK subsidiary. To be considered for this new role you must be either a qualified ACA / ACCA Audit & Accounts Senior or an Accounts Senior looking to receive audit training so you can start to carry out audit work. You will likely have a minimum of 5 years of practice experience, although ideally have a few years PQE. You will be working in a small or medium sized practice firm and looking to upgrade to a West End firm that will offer you better opportunities, progression and future development, as well as the opportunity to receive audit training. This firm has also had great success with candidates who have lived outside of London and relocated to London and wanted to work in a good quality, friendly independent firm in a mixed role.
