Overview
A Senior Java Developer is required in central Milton Keynes to work on an exciting transformation project which will see a range of products become driven by technology allowing my client to be an innovator of financial products. You must hit the ground running and possess the ability of being able to analyse, understand and evolve existing systems while bringing in next level experience and thought to advance innovation. You will be responsible for delivering projects/engagements internally and with partners that suit the project needs, satisfies stakeholder requirements and achieves the desired results under given constraints. The successful Java Developer will have a total of 4 years experience and have experience/be at home working within a Java 8 (and above) environment with Hibernate and Spring. You will have a sound understanding of complex integration in a heterogeneous environment, using serverless architectures (designing AWS solutions), API development and application, and XaaS principles. A strong understanding and expertise in software architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, Microservices), software containerisation, virtualisation and cloud computing, SDLC, Agile Methods, component design, UI, REST/XML/JSON, Web Services, data modelling and schema are all highly desirable.
