RDR are recruiting for a Information Manager to be based in Birmingham. This is a permanent full-time role.On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. Main Responsibilities/Duties Include for the Information Manager Role: The position of the Information Manager is to coordinate, manage and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) / Digital Data Repository (DDR) relating to the Midland Metropolitan Hospital and other Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust sites, including all graphical and non-graphical, records, data and information pertinent to the design, construction and completion of Post Completion Works (PCW) and information pertaining to the facilities, plant and equipment, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other building asset data. To assist in the management and coordination of asset collection and tagging across the estate Overview As an Information Manager, you must be self-motivated, highly organised and have a keen interest in developing and promoting the benefit of Digital Information for facilities management in the built environment. Working as part of a team with multiple stakeholders, you will be a collaborator with good communication skills and able to form strong relationships The Information Manager will work as part of the Facilities Management team, the Information Manager will need to ensure that the building data is received in a complete and timely manner from the client, construction partners or other parties involved in the project. The data will be stored in an accessible manner and maintained to reflect updates and changes to the assets and other building information. The role will include managing relevant access permissions and provide support to stakeholders requiring access. The Information Manager will develop links to the technical support functions and assist in helping to develop the company strategy for Digital Data Repositories Qualifications or Required Experience: Information Manager · Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Applications, SharePoint, and construction related software packages AutoCAD, Solibr and Navisworks · Use of collaboration sites, such as ASite, 4Projects,etc. · Familiar with data exchange formats such as DGN, DWG, IFC and COBie · Have a good working knowledge of industry standards such as PAS 1192 · Relevant construction industry experience in the context of Information Management and BIM · Have excellent communication and organisation skills · Be able to work under own supervision to meet deadlines · Relevant degree or equivalent How to Apply: Please apply directly for the Information Manager vacancy.
