Overview
Reed Finance are supporting a growing, owner managed business who are in need of a new senior finance professional to help support business growth and profitability. The successful candidate will be a commercially focused leader with the ability to operate both strategically and technically, managing a small team and reporting into owner level. Due to business growth a new number 1 position is available for a focused senior finance professional to ensure growth is continued and built upon. A few key responsibilities include: Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts Full P&L control Control and planning of all auditing Responsible for ensuring the business strives to achieve annual growth targets. Effectively manage the Finance team, ensuring that reporting is completed accurately and within given timeframes. Understanding and reporting of key trends and performance issues within the business and impact on overall targets. Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis Frequent production of relevant MI for board review This role will suit a qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) commercial individual who has gained commercial accounting experience including cash flow management, stock control and P&L reporting. Team management and development, strong management accounting experience and Excel knowledge is also required here to high level. Experience of setting up new accounting processes and procedures will also be an advantage in addition to any experience within a retail environment.
