Overview
The client, a large international manufacturing and production business based in the West End (Paddington), is looking for a Stock and Manufacturing Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone that has working for a manufacturing business, and previous experience working with A BILL OF MATERIALS. Client Details The client is a large international business that specialise in the manufacturing and production of perfumes & fragrances for a wide variety of retail brands across the world. The do the end to end manufacturing process (from design to distribution) and their head office is based in the West End (Paddington). They are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a manufacturing business to join the team as a Stock and Manufacturing Accountant, and to give support to the entire supply chain side of the business. Description The successful Stock and Manufacturing Accountant will be: Bill of material validations Assisting with the monthly Management Account production for the business Assist with the year-end production of the statutory accounts Stock reconciliations, control and evaluation Accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations Variance analysis on the P&L, as well as providing commentary for senior members of the business Preparation of the monthly management reporting pack Cost of Sales, Stock and WIP validation Fixed asset maintenance Ad hoc responsibilities Profile The successful Stock and Manufacturing Accountant will: Have previous experience working with A BILL OF MATERIALS Have approximately 3-5 years of experience in a similar role or industry Have experience working for an SME Have previous experience with the system Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred, not essential) Have French or Italian speaking skills (preferred, not essential) Have excl lent communication skills Have good Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups etc.) Studying towards their ACCA or CIMA qualifications Job Offer £40,000 - £45,000 Additional benefits Potential for a study support package
