Job Description

Python Developer / Flask / £35,000 - £65,000 / Stock Options / London I am working with an organisation operating within the FinTech sector that are looking to bring on board 5 new Python Developers due to their continuous growth. They have been in operation for over 6 years therefore, are out of the start-up phase and are now looking to really scale up their product. They have developed a piece of software that processes and formats data for banks before it is sent off to regulators to be checked. They have around 30 people within the business, 15 of which are in the engineering team split between front end and backend end developers. They are making a profit and because of this are looking to take their product to the next level. They are looking for around 5 Python Developers to join the team to help continue their aggressive growth plans. You will be expected to maintain the current product as well as working on greenfield projects like building API's and new features from scratch. The business uses Flask however, if you have experience using similar web frameworks then they would certainly like to speak to you. An educational background is not necessary however, if you have a degree in Computer Science or a similar degree then this would be highly advantageous. The company are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a drive to progress their career within software development whilst contributing to the growth of the business. Skills: * Experience developing web-based applications using Python * Experience with Flask, Django or similar framework * Docker/Kubernetes would be a plus * PostgreSQL * Degree in Computer Science or similar * Enthusiasm, drive and a passion to learn * Strong problem-solving skills Package: A competitive salary between £35,000 - £65,000 is on offer and this is accompanied by 25 days holiday, stock options, pension, health insurance, free breakfasts, free lunches, annual team trips, cultural activities and more.
