Position: Presales Consultant Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 Location: London Job Type: Permanent Are you looking for an exciting Channel Support Executive role within a fast-paced working environment? If so, this is an excellent opportunity to utilise your communication skills and join the friendly Presales team in the headquarters of a progressive international software house based in London. This role requires an enthusiastic, details orientated individual with a 'can-do' attitude who can provide high quality support to both our External Account Managers, Managed Print Solution Dealer Channel and Channel Account Managers, located in the UK, Central and Western Europe, Russia and Turkey. Presales Consultant Job Requirements: Answering presales queries and ensuring that presales tickets raised in the helpdesk system are always answered within one hour. Answering incoming presales calls. Participating in teleconferences where technical and functional advice is required. Performing online demonstrations and webinars as and when required. Going on joint visits to customers, prospects and resellers with sales account managers and individually to handle technical queries. Communicating customers’ technical requirements to the installations project manager prior to implementation. Performing technical testing to simulate the use of our clients products in customers' environments to facilitate sales and aid with technical support. Assisting with the completion of tenders and coordinating the company’s response. Providing development with an insight as to what customers require from future products and integrations. Training sales people and resellers on both the technical and functional aspects of the company's software and hardware particularly when new products and versions updates are released. Writing and proof-reading product manuals, technical white papers and statement of works including creating diagrams for ongoing projects. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure our client is positioned to provide the best customer service to its customers and resellers. Involvement in high level Presales escalations and ensuring that you are a great ambassador for the company. Attending exhibitions and regional conferences where our client is exhibiting. Assisting marketing with the writing of product brochures. Conducting competitive analysis of competitors portfolio products. Evaluating and testing potential new software solutions and hardware products. Quoting customers when required. Presales Consultant Key Skills: Experience of software demonstration and product training. Self-confidence with the ability to speak to an audience. Good communication skills with a high standard of spoken and written English. Good telephone manner. Initiative and desire to constantly improve. Team player but with the ability to work independently. Excellent time-keeping. The ability to evaluate work and processes and suggest improvements. Assertiveness with an understanding of people. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Applications. An active interest in IT and technology. Technical background would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
