Highways Manager - London - Competitive Salary Bonus My Client is a full-fibre broadband provider, bringing truly exceptional connectivity services to homes and businesses in the Home Counties in 2020. We want to help them achieve their goal - to improve lifestyles and enhance the future of our communities by connecting people, businesses and services instantly through reliable broadband. The role: Handle sample inspection programmes and regimes carried out by the Council. Understands the internal processes of the Street Works division and its inspectors within a Council. Attend organised meetings with the Council to keep up to date with county wide activities. Attend forums and conferences run by regulatory bodies. Keep up to date with regulation and any planned changes in legislation and share with key stakeholders. Monitor the performance of the contractor to ensure the notices and permits submitted under Swish Symology and Street Manager accounts are up to date and accurate according to the activity schedule. Manage a team of Quality Assurance Managers. What we are looking for: Ability to form excellent relationships with Councils Street Works Team and be proactive in arranging regular meetings on a weekly basis. Excellent Public Relations skills and communication with the local residents as the Swish point of contact for all civils related complaints. An in-depth knowledge of HAUC. Experience in handling defects claims from the Council within the two-year defects and liability period. Good communication skills across all key stakeholders.
