Overview

The Role As a successful Senior Sales Progression Consultant/ Mortgage Administrator you will thrive on taking our customers through from mortgage application stage to completion of their property purchase or re-mortgage whilst working in a fast paced, pressured environment, keeping the Customer at the heart of what you do. You will work as a part of a vibrant team to support one of our expanding business streams on SPT, consisting of our Top Performing Mortgage Consultants or Leaver teams. You will enjoy using your knowledge of the Financial Services, home buying and Conveyancing industries and your strong relationship skills when liaising with Mortgage Lenders, Property Lawyers, and Mortgage Consultants etc. The Sales Progression Team were set up 2011 to support to our customers and consultants alike as a home purchase can be one of the most complicated and stressful transactions made in anyone`s lifetime. The team guide customers through the difficulties they may experience along the way with our Company values being key to their day to day activities. Examples of what you will be doing: Supporting a team of Mortgage Administrators to achieve a team target and provide a point of escalation for trouble shooting and escalated case scenarios Monitoring and allocating your teams` workload to ensure tasks are managed effectively and targets are met Ensuring that the personal and professional standards of your team are adhered to Reporting to a team manager, identify and suggest development opportunities for individuals and the team Proactively progressing individual cases from mortgage application through to completion Problem solving when required to move purchases and re-mortgages forward Maintaining a positive relationship with our direct customers and in house Mortgage Consultants Working to deadlines to ensure customers achieve their dream move Prioritising and organising your workload to ensure the best outcome is achieved Examples of how you will do your job: You will bring all aspects of our values to life: Personal, Responsible, Straightforward and Passionate Tenacious: You will be tenacious in delivering results for your customers Empathetic: You will be empathetic to your customer and colleague`s needs recognising individuality in each transaction Infectious Energy: You will be a positive influence on your colleagues helping to drive a busy and productive working environment Examples of how you will know you are doing a great job: Positive feedback from colleagues, customers and Mortgage Consultants alike Development of an effective sub team where standards are met and targets exceeded Meeting qualitative measures such as call observations to ensure high standards are consistently met by yourself and your team. Achieving set targets to include pipeline conversion, the percentage of pipeline that converts to completed business, and pipeline turn, the length of time to move a transaction from mortgage application to completion Experience you have that will set you up for success: You will have experience of working as part of an effective team You will bring with you experience in relation to either Financial Services (specifically mortgages), Conveyancing, or Estate Agency You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise a pressured workload You will be resilient and able to calm and reassure anxious customers You will be outgoing and confident You will have excellent communication skills Other helpful things to know: This role reports to the Sales Progression Team Manager This role will be based in Countrywide House, Milton Keynes Salary: £22,500.00
