As we are a community-based Care Provider, we need our Care Assistants to be able to drive and have use of their own car. You MUST have right to work in the UK and MUST live in the area. You may be looking for a new challenge or have had a career break and want to get back into working in care. Have you always thought about working in the care industry, but circumstances have prevented you from doing so? Then we want to hear from you as we are flexible and look to accommodate everyone’s situation. If you are new to care do not worry, we provide all training necessary, shadowing until you are ready and ongoing support, including weekly supervisions while you are on probation. As one of our Care Assistants, you will be joining a fun, compassionate and professional team, working within the community of Southampton. Our main aim is to help maintain our customers independence while in their own homes. Job Description Some of your key Responsibilities as a Care Assistant are: · Providing professional support to maintain a safe environment for our customers. · Helping our customers with their individual needs. Some of your Duties as a Care Assistant will include: · Personal Care – Showering, Dressing, Bathing, assisting with going to the toilet. · Assisting and prompting medication. · Light domestic tasks – cleaning, washing up, shopping etc · Keeping up to date and professional care notes after each visit. Also, all the Carer appreciation we offer Our Care Assistants can expect to get: · FREE Enhanced DBS Check · Enhanced rates of pay up to £16.25 an hour. · PAID Travel Time · Paid Mileage · Paid Annual Leave. Paid travel time, mileage and annual leave is on top of your normal wage We have both Full Time and Part Time positions available. Our shift patterns are split into mornings and afternoon/evenings. 7am until 2pm then 4pm until 10pm. This is 7 days a week, so we have WEEKEND WORK AVAILABLE. Our minimum requirement is one evening a week and alternate weekends. The rest is flexible and up to you how many hours you would like to work.
