Overview
Chartered Building or Quantity Surveyor required by major loss adjusting practice for technical role working in support of the general commercial property and major loss adjusting teams. You will operate in the Midlands region and provide advice/guidance on complex building issues arising from losses referred to you. You will regularly deal with losses in excess of £100,000. You will be required to scope jobs and make recommendations but there will be no requirement to project manage losses through to completion. The position can be home and/or office-based depending upon your current location. Candidates must essentially be MCIOB or MRICS qualified with a background in either subsidence or perils work. You should ideally live in the Midlands and be happy to travel extensively as the role is spread across a wide geographical area. Basic salary up to £50,000 plus market-leading fee-related bonus, worth up to £15-20,000 annually, car allowance, pension, private medical care and 25 days holiday.
