Overview
This dynamic accountancy, wealth and tax management company are looking for a senior manager within their tax team. The company work within non for profit, private individuals and families on all areas of business, tax and wealth. The company are going through an expansion phase and have offices across Kent, London, Sussex and also have an international presence. They provide a full range of accountancy, business advisory and financial services. Scope of The Role: As a Senior Manager you will report directly to their head of Corporate Tax. You will have an excellent knowledge of UK corporation tax with a good grasp of other business taxes. You will be heavily involved in planning assignments with focus on detailed analysis of the disguised investment fee rules, transactions in land, EMI and EIS schemes, demergers. Due diligence on acquisitions and advising on sale of business. Exposure to international tax issues such as double taxation treaties, transfer pricing, thin capitalisation and CFC’s will be useful. Additional Responsibilities will include: Help manage the client relationship to become the trusted business advisor Assist UK and International clients structure their tax affairs Assist managing CT compliance Review complex corporation tax returns Act as a manager for 5 staff Requirements: CTA qualification Demonstrable experience of corporation tax The role will be office based with significant client contact.
