Overview
Management Accountant - Nottingham - £45,000 fantastic benefits Chase & Holland are excited to be working with one of Nottingham’s leading professional service businesses. A permanent Management Accountant role is on offer which will see you managing one direct report. You will be working closely with the Finance Business Partners and key stakeholders of the business adding real value to an already exciting business. The role will be responsible for working with the Financial Controller to ensure the integrity of financial information and the nominal ledger, as well as taking primary responsibility for central team budget and forecasts. The right candidate will be looking to work in a busy but modern environment in a very hands on role. Management Accountant responsibilities: Supporting the external statutory and audit processes Preparing weekly cash flow forecasts Posting of month end journals Fixed asset accounting including register maintenance Balance sheet reconciliations Variance analysis, investigating any discrepancies Review of month end tasks performed by others in the department Leading the annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes Producing monthly management accounts for the bank and quarterly covenant reporting Completion of the quarterly VAT returns, the quarterly EC Sales listing, National Statistics returns and other statutory returns as required Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 35hr week. Required skills & experience: Advanced Excel and experience of Word is essential.
