Accounts Assistant Central London Permanent Luxury Leisure business £20,000 - £24,000 benefits An Accounts Assistant is required to work within a Luxury Leisure business based in Central London on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a Luxury business that has exceptional growth plans over the next few years. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will work as their number 2 and support them in taking accountability for the full finance function for this fast growth business. Initially you will take ownership for the sales ledger, purchase ledger and bank reconciliations with the view to taking on more responsibilities including management accounts as you grow with the business. Duties will include: Taking full ownership for the purchase ledger function including invoice processing, payment runs, dealing with any queries Assisting with month end including journal preparation Supporting the Finance Manager with management accounting duties Management of company bank reconciliations Handling the sales ledger including credit control and raising invoices Preparing credit card reconciliations Adhoc projects The successful candidate will be degree educated with a minimum of 1 years’ experience working within finance with exposure to handling the sales and purchase ledgers. You must be ambitious and actively looking to study towards ACCA/CIMA and have a desire to grow in line with this fast growth brand. Experience working with Sage is desired but not essential. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and the role will suit an individual who is able to manage their own workload and possess strong communication skills.
