Overview
Mechanical Engineer Location: Cambridge We have partnered with a Cambridge-based biotech organisation who have recently closed a significant round of funding. As a result, they are looking to hire a talented Mechanical Engineer. They are working on a disruptive piece of technology that is set to really disrupt the current market. As a Mechanical Engineer you will join a multi-disciplinary, talented and diverse group of people, working towards a shared goal. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Engineer To tackle some complex problems in thermal management To ensure stable and consistent reagent delivery to the flow cell Involved in the design of the electromechanical and fluidic components and sub-systems You'll be excited about seeing your initial CAD drawings/concepts taken through to prototype stage and being involved in product iterations along the way. Person Specification: Mechanical Engineer Flexible and dynamic - you'll love a challenge and solving some complex design issues will excite you Mechanical/Product Design - you'll definitely have a background in one or both of these Fluidics - It would be great if you had a theoretical or practical knowledge, but don't worry if you don't, it's not essential.
