Maths modelling, DfM, 3D CAD, MedTech, consumer products, ISO 13485 You’ll join a successful company developing great products that change people’s lives for the better. Our client is an established technical consultancy based in a rural location near Cambridge. You will have good qualifications and be credible in front of clients. Your work will involve applying mathematical modelling skills alongside more practical modelling and design approaches. Working within an ISO 13485 quality management system, you will need relevant commercial experience in areas including: • Design for assembly and transfer to manufacture (low to high volume, depending on the product) • Use of 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks • Understanding specific design requirements for medical devices, consumer products, instrumentation and test equipment. • Design with compliance to current legislation and industry standards applicable to the project • An interest in developing – or, for a more senior appointment, already developed – project management skills Based in an exceptional rural location within cycling distance of central Cambridge, our client offers a truly supportive environment to grow your career.
