Overview

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for an Associate Supplier Governance for our Multinational Pharmaceutical client based in the Middlesex area on an initial 12-month contract. Job Purpose In this international role, the individual will play a key role in working with internal customers and external suppliers to manage the Scope of Work process and associated financial commitments. Main Responsibilities of the role Working closely with colleagues in the UK and US to request clinical study related supplier proposals Facilitating the finalization of detailed service descriptions (Scopes of Work/Work Orders) Overseeing the execution of the corresponding financial commitment (Purchase Order) Monitoring the Scope of Work and associated budget throughout the lifetime of the clinical study, adjusting as appropriate Desired Experience and Background of the successful candidate With science- or business-based A level(s)/equivalent, or qualified by experience, the individual will have built up a good knowledge of clinical trial operations through working in a CRO or through time spent in the pharmaceutical industry Familiar with the practical, technical and financial aspects of contracting and vendor selection, the individual will have proven experience of working relationships with external suppliers The individual will have gained good project management skills through substantial experience of working in an international, collaborative environment In addition, the individual will have the interpersonal and communication skills to negotiate with, influence and manage people at all levels, internally and externally, as well as the initiative, attention to detail and analytical skills to successfully control major projects pharmaceutical pharma multinational product clinicaltrial finance projectmanagement For more information on this role, call Kate O' Sullivan on 44 (0) or email for a completely confidential chat about this role and other opportunities using the reference number: 930152 Our role in supporting diversity and inclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
