Overview

Solutions Architect - Software Implementation - £90k Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading software house in the City of London to recruit a Software Solution Architect to join their client focussed software implementation team. Your role will be to work directly with their clients to deliver their flagship software platform by combining consultancy and technical skills to define and implement innovative solutions using a broad range of tools and techniques. You will be leading and managing a team and will also have the opportunity to be hands-on in solving complex and interesting business problems with their software solutions. They are expanding their team to accelerate the delivery of their software platforms for customers to continue their dominance as the market leader in their field. As a Solution architecture you will play a key role in the implementation of their software platforms by gathering and analysing clients functional and non-functional requirements, understanding the clients existing technical environment including data flows and integration requirements and mapping these to the new software platform. You will design the end-to-end integration specifications using existing patterns and be the bridge between the business and technology teams to explain the solution. You will then work alongside Project Managers to steer the delivery of the platform and work with Test and Support teams. This is a full time role based in the London offices with the opportunity to work one day per week from home. You will be working as part of a technical team of over 100 talented team members made up of Architects, Developers, Testers, Support Analysts, Project Managers and Product Owners To be considered you are likely to be Degree educated and have at least 5- 10 years experience in a Solutions Architecture / Technical Consulting / Technical Evangelism role where you are working closely with clients to gather and analyse requirements and designing and managing the implementation of enterprise software products. Knowledge of common integration patterns and approaches including REST, Publish-Subscribe, Message Queues will be required. Their technical stack includes Java, XML MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle databases and whilst they are not looking for a developer they need someone that knows how to integrate and implement these systems for clients into complex software environments.
