Overview
Are you a contractor seeking an immediate start? Our client, a UK subsidiary of an international consultancy is looking for a part-qualified AAT, ACCA or QBE Accounts Assistant to cover a 1 year maternity assignment. The company is based in the City and provides a generous benefits package. THE ROLE Part of a team of 3 reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work across a wider range of accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable lots of reconciliation work and assisting with month-end journal preparation, inter-company, VAT Returns, fixed assets, and month end/annual reporting. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Although full training will be provided, you will already be competent in the basics, such as accounts payable and receivable, bank and supplier reconciliation and assisting with month-end. Key requirements: You should be a part-qualified AAT/ACCA/CIMA or QBE candidate who can commit for 1 year. Other requirements: Excellent attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent team player Proficiency in IT skills including Word and Excel, knowledge of JD Edwards or Oracle are advantages.
