Overview
Configuration Support Our client is looking for Configuration Support person to join their R&D team, the team consist of circa 20 system architecture, hardware, software and firmware, and mechanical engineers and programmers developing the next generation DAS and digital repeaters including on-board train repeaters. The engineering team provides engineering support to the outsourced production lines. Technology includes: RF, digital, software and mechanical design and development, cellular and public safety technologies, wireless system engineering, providing cellular and public safety standards and certification processes. This role is based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire and offers a very competitive salary plus excellent benefits. As an Engineering Configuration Support your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Excel experience Strong analytical and problem solving ability Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Good time management and reporting Strong positive attitude Confidence to work independently As an Engineering Configuration Support your main responsibilities will involve: Maintain the Engineering Part and Product data in the AGILE PLM and Oracle ERP System. Create new parts as requested. Raise change orders as requested. Import BOMs and Documents into Agile PLM as requested. Check documents for compliance to configuration requirements. Assist engineering with AGILE and Oracle queries. Provide inputs for the change control board meetings. Progress change orders, ensuring approved by the responsible persons according to requirements. Transfer approved engineering change orders to Oracle ERP System. For products and modules made in-house make specified changes in Oracle for routings and item records. Provide build data and change details for Operations and Contract Manufacturers. Support production and procurement with queries about the engineering data. Perform audits to check the Agile PLM and Oracle ERP remain aligned. Correct Oracle data to match Agile.
