Who we're looking for We are looking for a CSA Configuration Analyst to join our busy team. The CSA Configuration Analyst plays an important role in working with the Business to define, implement and deliver Automation. The role includes configuration of relevant CSA toolsets including RPA, OCR, Machine Learning and other upcoming technologies About Schroders We're a global investment manager. The team The Configuration Analyst role sits within Schroders' Cognitive Science and Automation (CSA) Group. The group is responsible for Schroders' digital workforce - configuration, run, optimisation and related operational change. The group engages and collaborates with other business teams within Schroders such as compliance and risk, business consulting, data and insights, and Global Technology to identify, prioritise and automate business processes. Once automated, the group is responsible for the ongoing support and optimisation of the digital workforce. What you'll do Overview of role The Configuration Analyst works closely with other group members and the Business to automate processes and deliver innovative technological solutions end-to-end. This CSA resource should ideally have strong configuration experience with relevant CSA toolsets, such as Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Machine Learning to: Understand user requirements and develop/configure and implement technological solutions Design, build, test and implement process automation using RPA and other CSA toolsets available Engage effectively with Business SMEs to understand and document the business requirements Engage effectively with multiple stakeholders across Technology and Business SMEs Manage configuration project deliverables through the automation lifecycle Analyse and solve complex business problems with speed and efficiency and develop technology solutions to these problems Collaborate with other team members to ensure configuration priorities are aligned to overall strategy and business need Create Process Design and Solution Design Documents Collaborate with the CSA Engagement Manger on process automation opportunity identification The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need Experience with RPA tools (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UIPath) Knowledge of programming, including scripting/coding, e.g. .NET (C#) and .NET framework application development, Python, VBS, JavaScript, SQL Able to understand Business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Experience with process analysis, design, and implementation; business and technical requirements; problem-solving; and system(s) testing, including UAT and bug fixes Understand the importance of tracking, managing and documenting all configuration issues to ensure overall project cohesion and appropriate risk management The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help Blue Prism Developer qualification Professional experience in programming, including scripting/coding, e.g. .NET (C#) and .NET framework application development, JS, VBS, JavaScript, HTML, SQL Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) Experience with cloud services, especially OCR & machine learning solutions (Textract, LUIS etc) Undergraduate degree in Science / Technology / Engineering Basic understanding of Lean and Agile principles, frameworks and tools, and the ability to apply these principles in RPA solution design Lean Six Sigma qualification Familiarity with process improvement and transformation programmes of work Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to demonstrate critical thinking; carry out objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to inform decision making What you'll be like You are a self-starting person who can manage their own workload, as well a strong team player.
