We are recruiting a Supply Chain Planning Leader to co-ordinate all demand and production planning activities to effectively utilise capacity and manning in order to meet Customer demands and Supply Chain requirements in line with defined business objectives. You will manage all activities relating to inventory planning and control, supplier forecasting, short and long term capacity planning within the Plastics Operations Group. You will analyse key performance measures and report at an agreed frequency to drive improvement within the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations. You will inspire, mentor, manage and laed your planning team. As Supply Chain Planning Leader , you will, Define and drive actions to simplify and improve SCM Be responsible for the day to day operation of the Product and Materials Planning activities along with the Distribution of all Finished Goods and Products Develop and maintain close working relationships with the Regional and WW SC teams to understand and model demand and liaise with Customers (where appropriate) Manage a Monthly S&OP for established Products within the plants and input to the monthly S&OP Process between the various stakeholders in line with the agreed process Maintain the LTCP process at plant level, using inputs from WW functions and platforms and aligning with the global PS process Maintain compliant processes and procedures for all planning, purchasing and distribution activities Monitor Net Requirement variation between cycles to identify deviations and collaborate with SNP and S&OP Planners to apply relevant corrections and implement corrective actions. Model supply chain strategies for each product and to work closely with the Plants and Regional SC teams to implement processes to ensure Customer requirements are met Optimise inventory strategies, delivery planning and optimise RM, WIP and FG Inventory Analyse and report on key performance measures to facilitate improvement activities within the plants and wider supply chain Develop and implement improvement programs with suppliers, in collaboration with GP and supply chain colleagues, to reduce exposure on raw material purchasing and inventory Monitor supplier delivery performance and report on a regular basis Manage quarterly BMR with key suppliers and develop improvement action plans in conjunction with Supplier Development Leader Identify suppliers for "phase out" and work with Procurement to identify alternative sources Develop tools to support the measurement of plant KPI’s in collaboration with key operational departments within the plant Develop associates within direct report team to meet their individual career aspirations You can look forward to a rewarding career, great benefits package, collaborative working and opportunities to expand your skills in this fast moving, dynamic and agile business.
