Overview
My client are an exciting and innovative Retail Company who are looking for an immediately available Accounts Payable Clerk to join their amazing offices in London. The company work on some great and exciting projects and are seeking a finance professional to join their team. The AP clerk will be covering a maternity and will be in a team of 5 reporting into the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining supplier details, monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, must ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner and other Ad-Hoc tasks. Communication is key in this role as you will keep up relationships with many creative, finance and senior members of staff as well as the suppliers associated. The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 year experience within a similar Accounts Payable role, ideally within a FMCG/Retail or fashion business so you can hit the ground running. However if you do have relevant experience and feel you can pick up tasks quickly and efficiently then my client will also consider this.
