Overview

Finance/Admin Assistant Paying up to 18k dependent on experience Fulham To start ASAP Job Description Working on behalf of a Fulham based school we are recruiting to a full time all year round permanent Finance/Admin Assistant vacancy. Your duties within this role will include processing purchase orders and invoices ensuring the school complies with authorisation levels as per the schools internal financial procedures, ensuring that PO numbers are processed in line with budgets and after relevant authorisations have been acquired. You will manage queries relating to payments and deliveries, code and input invoices onto the finance system, get invoices signed off by the budget holders in preparation for the payment run, filing all finance and staffing paperwork, assist with the preparation of paperwork for the BACS run and scanning and filing for a payment run. You will manage ParentPay - managing trip money, monitoring receipts, printing reports, entering cash and cheque payments etc. Other duties include typing, filing, scanning, photocopying, emailing, report checking, managing parental queries. You may be asked to assist with HR and Premises related IT/administrative duties from time to time. The Package This is a permanent position to start ASAP - the post is all year round paying up to 18k dependent one experience. The role also offers the potential for sponsorship for AAT, the school provides free lunch during term time, on-site parking, LGPS scheme contributions and 25 days holiday annually. Job Requirements It is essential you hold some school finance experience - the school will provide full training however you will need a basic knowledge of accounting. Ideally they would like to bring someone in on a temp to perm basis however for candidates already in a permanent post will consider bringing someone in straight perm.
