The Role This exciting opportunity as a Chef Manager is based at a Junior Infant school in West Byfleet, Surrey, KT14 6EF. You will be joining an enthusiastic team of professionals and reporting into the Operations Manager. Your key responsibilities as the Chef Manager will consist of: · Proactively managing and supporting the catering team. · Responsible for the preparation, cooking and service of food. · Training, supporting and team development to deliver an efficient, high quality service to our customer and client. · Maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget. · Ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence. · Creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence. · Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customer and colleagues. · Ongoing development of our food service.
